Daniela Diaz (she/her)

Design Intern

Daniela is currently pursuing a dual master’s degree in landscape architecture and urban planning at the University of Minnesota. Daniela is a Chicago native and daughter of immigrant parents who studied political science in undergrad at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University. Following graduation, she taught English in Madrid, Spain.

In her free time, she loves to spend time outside, especially in the Boundary Waters. In addition to her love of nature, she travels often, visiting family and friends in both Chicago and Mexico. She has a passion for making nature accessible, and diversifying the narrative of ‘the outdoors’.
